Art,  For opacity we follow the procedures in 40 CFR Part 60, Appendix A of Reference Method 9. For other state specific testing requirements we have a Compliance Sampling Manual available on the website at http://www.iowadnr.gov/air/prof/const/const.html. Six and one-half (6.5) hour lecture with specific content and auditable, qualified instructors. Lecture must be taken prior to field in order to be certified.

Field is strictly proctored and audited, at times blind audits are conducted by the state.  Equipment must operate zero to 100%.  First Certification run is practice only --- can certify only after completing a second run.
